I’ve been playing trumpet and studying music for almost 30 years. I’ve always loved different types of music and found it hard to focus on just one genre. When I began trumpet I was trained classically, playing mostly western classical and band music. As I became more proficient on my instrument, I branched out to jazz, new music, commercial, klezmer, folk, and electronic. I’ve played with many groups including the Delaware Theatre Company, Atlantic Coast Opera Festival, The Princeton Festival, Philos Brass, The Academy Orchestra, Philadelphia Festival Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Wind Symphony, Philly Bloco, and NYC based Contemporaneous. I’m currently a member of Dreamtime and principal trumpet of the Bravura Philharmonic.
