Private Lessons

Music education has always been an important part of my life. Had I not received a quality music education in public schools growing up, I wouldn’t be where I am now. I believe every student deserves the chance to study music in school. Music gives children of all ages an outlet to work through challenging emotions.

I worked for many years as a teaching artist with diverse and underserved students in and around the Philadelphia area.  I currently have a private studio. 

My method as an instructor is to work with the student and their interests. I place a lot of emphasis on fundamentals and breath work, but I also leave room for the student to find what excites them about music and playing. 

In addition to trumpet lessons, I offer instruction in music theory and composition.
